FAQ Meet & Greet

  • What kind of dogs are accepted at Barker’s Farm?

We welcome friendly, non-aggressive dogs who enjoy the company of both people and other dogs. All pups should be comfortable in a social environment and ready to have fun safely with others!

  • What is a meet and greet?

A meet and greet is a short introduction where we get to know your dog’s personality and ensure they’re comfortable in our environment. It’s a quick, friendly way to confirm Barker’s Farm is the right fit.

  • Can my dog do their meet and greet right before daycare?

Yes! As long as your dog passes their meet and greet and is approved, they can go straight into daycare afterward. It’s a great way to ease them into their first day of fun!

  • What should I bring for the meet and greet?

Please bring your dog’s current vaccination records, leash, and collar. That’s all we need to get started!

  • Are all dogs accepted at Barker’s Farm?

For the safety and happiness of all our guests, we do not accept dogs that show human aggression, dog aggression, or are known fence jumpers. Our goal is to provide a fun, safe environment for every pup to enjoy their stay.

  • What if my dog is food or toy aggressive?

Please let our staff know if your dog has any toy or food guarding behaviors so we can make sure they are managed safely and comfortably during playtime and mealtimes.

  • What happens if my dog shows aggressive behavior while at Barker’s Farm?

Safety is always our top priority. If a dog shows concerning aggression or unsafe behavior, our staff will separate them immediately and contact the owner to discuss next steps.
