Animal Boarding Questions

  • When can I drop off or pick up my dog for boarding?

Drop-off and pick-up can be done anytime during our open hours. There is no strict deadline, but please note: any pet still with us after 7:00 PM will be considered an overnight guest and charged boarding fees, even if picked up later that evening.

  • Is the boarding facility indoors or outdoors?

All boarding takes place indoors in a clean, temperature-controlled environment for comfort and safety. During the day, dogs enjoy outdoor time and play as the weather allows.

  • What can I bring for my dog when boarding?

Please bring your dog’s regular food to keep them on their normal diet, along with any necessary medications or supplements. You’re also welcome to bring comfort items such as blankets, toys, or a favorite bed to help your pet feel at home. If your dog tends to chew or eat these items, please let us know so we can ensure their safety.

  • Does Barker’s Farm offer both short-term and long-term boarding?

Absolutely! Whether it’s just for the night, a weekend getaway, or several weeks, your dog is welcome to stay with us for as long as you need.

  • Will my dog be supervised while boarding?

Yes! Dogs are supervised throughout the day and evening. At night, they rest safely in individual indoor kennels within our facility and are monitored through security cameras overnight.

  • Do you administer medications?

Yes, we do! Just provide clear instructions and the medication, and we’ll make sure your pup gets the care they need at no extra cost.

  • Is the boarding area climate-controlled?

Yes! Our indoor boarding areas are kept at comfortable temperatures year-round, with clean bedding and plenty of ventilation.

  • Will my dog get outdoor time while boarding?

Definitely! All dogs enjoy plenty of outdoor time in our secure play yards, either with a group or one-on-one, depending on your dog’s preference.

  • Can you board cats at Barker’s Farm?

Not quite yet—but soon! We’re working on creating a cozy, cat-friendly space and hope to welcome feline guests in the near future.
